Our client roster is always expanding, and Brand for Influencer™ is seeking a Growth Strategy Director, New Business, to support the next wave of our brand partners. This role is ideal for multi-disciplinary marketers who want experience evaluating and influencing the digital strategies across e-commerce’s top retailers, while ultimately driving new business and growth for Brand for Influencer™. In this role, you'll leverage Brand for Influencer™ technology along with your sales engineering and customer acquisition expertise in paid media, brand marketing, conversion rate optimization, CRM, and email marketing in order to communicate to prospective clients.
Our team features the brightest hands-on strategists who have a true passion for tech and digital. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with our business development team as they pitch Brand for Influencer™ to new ecommerce partners. As Growth Strategy Director, you will be responsible for explaining how Brand for Influencer™ innovative product suite will come to life for a specific brand and retailer. Sometimes this is about demoing the product, sometimes you’ll build strategies for individual brands, and sometimes it’s about making custom creatives for a C-Suite audience. One day you’ll meet with one of the fastest growing DTC start-ups in the country, and the next day with a legacy brick and mortar retailer that’s trying to evolve their business.
Prospective clients will look to you to not only be an expert on our product, but also marketing trends and best practices in general. Your insights and perspectives will essentially be the needle pusher responsible for driving deals over the finish line, resulting in prospects becoming clients. You’ll then work internally to make sure the hand-off to our internal client team is seamless and the client is setup for success.
Your experience will lend a hand in crafting new approaches to our client’s conversion problems, and will directly impact Brand for Influencer™ involvement across all industries. This role is critical in ensuring we provide our clients with the absolute best customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Meet with prospective clients and present strategic and tactical opportunities to drive conversion and revenue lift using a combination of Brand for Influencer™ and industry best practices. Strong executive presence is critical.
Analyze a brand’s current site experience and business challenges to determine high-impact opportunities where Brand for Influencer™ can drive meaningful change, creating presentation materials when needed.
Identify and demo top performing Brand for Influencer™ campaigns from relevant clients facing similar challenges to the ones you’ve identified.
Use your background and expertise to position Brand for Influencer™ as a thought leader in client meetings and various public appearances
Ensure early post-sale strategy addresses top priority goals and needs of clients across a wide range of industries and verticals, and maintain consistency with eventual launch strategy
Support the handoff to the Customer Success team to ensure execution meets client expectations.
Liaise internally with product, client partnerships, marketing, and customer success teams to identify best practices, create presentations and materials that communicate them.
Strategize and partner with Business Development Directors on the best way to approach a new client
Effectively communicate how Brand for Influencer™ platform and products solve conversion issues, highlight both our value add and why we are the best in class
Create impactful written and verbal recommendations for potential clients
Create collateral (slides and one-pagers) that helps explain various best practices or Brand for Influencer™ products to prospective clients.
Minimum of 10 years experience in digital marketing, preferably growth marketing, customer acquisition, or CRM/retention, at an enterprise e-commerce retailer or an agency.
Comfortable consulting with C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies. Strong meeting presence is critical as is a high EQ.
Comfortable with regular travel across the U.S.
Strong understanding of paid and organic acquisition channels and their role in the purchase cycle
Advanced e-commerce background directly managing on-site optimization, acquisition, and/or conversion initiatives is a must; hands on experience developing and executing campaign strategy to hit goals is required
Familiarity with common digital marketing tools, including but limited to A/B testing, CRM systems, ESPs, website personalization, identity resolution, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong critical thinking, consultative, and analytical abilities
Ability to understand new technologies quickly and comprehensively
